Today was a low-key day. I got to work on my project for most of the day. I got the floating fullness gauge modeled, which was kind of hard. I tried to make the pulley and rope in an assembly, but I couldn't quite figure out the rope part of it. So I just decided to make the part as one whole piece. It won't be able to move, but I think that's ok. Maybe if I finish early I will go back in and attempt it later. It would be an interesting challenge to see if I could make something that moves in SolidWorks. I made a hinge, but that was with the tutorial, so I don't think that counts. Another challenge I think I will encounter when preparing for exhibition is being able to display my projects on my computer. My first solution is to save them as .jpeg's and then just have them as pictures. I'm not sure if that would work, but it's worth a shot. For those who are interested, my exhibition will be at Animas High School on Friday the 21st from 1:00 to 3:00. Everybody is welcome to come and see what I have been doing as well as see what the other Juniors have done.
